What are your contributions to the team?
Reporting to the Leader of Methods, join our team as a Methods Agent in the Operations Challenger and Global Montreal division. You will support the CH350/650/Global and Drive ATP departments, leveraging your expertise in IT environments, project management, and operations.
- Work in collaboration with the production department, the operations support group and the engineering department in our manufacturing centers to analyze tooling requests in order to find technological solutions that will improve assembly performance.
- Update and coordinate timelines and information for different tooling/project requests and inform the parties involved.
- Participate, with tool designers, in defining tool concepts.
- Issue order instructions to allow our internal & external suppliers to manufacture tools according to our designs.
- Management and monitoring of project costs under your management.
- Accompany and support our internal & external suppliers during the manufacturing of tools.
- Inspect the tools to ensure their compliance with the drawings before delivery to production and support operations during the first test of the templates.
- Provide technical support to the different production sectors and assist operations with technical problems.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a college diploma in mechanical engineering or aeronautics or equivalent experience.
- You have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in project management.
- You are familiar with Catia V5 and/or NX drawing software (asset).
- You have technical knowledge in mechanical manufacturing.
- You have good manual experience in the field of specialized tools.
- You know the aeronautical field and more precisely interior finishing assembly.
- You have an analytical mind and a good sense of organization.
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy teamwork.
- You are familiar with the Microsoft office suite.
- You master the French language and you have knowledge of the English language.
