What are your contributions to the team?
As an Analyst in Strategy and Business Development - Procurement, you will play a pivotal role within the Strategic Supply Chain and Procurement division, specifically in the Methods Transition department. Reporting directly to the leader of supply chain, you will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing procurement processes to support our organization's growth and efficiency.
- Support the strategic planning process of Bombardier’s Supply Chain organization;
- Ensure Supply Chain overall strategy meets and support’s Bombardier’s corporate strategy;
- Plan and facilitate key meetings across Strategy teams and senior management;
- Lead cross-organizational reviews and strategic initiatives within Supply Chain strategy;
- Communicate on a regular basis with key stakeholders, especially with executives, on the progress of the projects under your responsibility;
- Develop a network of internal and external contacts to support information-gathering and analysis.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold an undergraduate degree with a strong concentration in an analytical discipline.
- A graduate or master’s degree in operations management or a master of business administration (MBA) from a world-class academic institution would be an asset;
- You have a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of professional experience in a strategic environment in the Manufacturing industry;
- You have strong research & analytical skills with a commitment to rigor and attention to details;
- You have knowledge of the aerospace industry and contracting processes (an asset);
- You have ability for synthesis and for presentation of complex information;
- You have the ability to exercise full discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters;
- You are able to multi-task under a highly demanding and continuously changing environment;
- You have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (from senior management to staff);
- You have a strong team spirit and leadership abilities and you demonstrate flexibility;
- You are able to meet tight deadlines;
- You can work with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
